Just got off from listening to the live stream.
Well, that’s that. The press conference is over and nothing regarding the next Grand Theft Auto was announced, unfortunately. This means we’ll just have to keep waiting and see if Rockstar will plan other events in which something new might get revealed.
A lot of people disappointed and the tension in this topic on GTAforums was very high and I myself stayed updated trying desperately to hear something regarding a new GTA in the press conference while refreshing the mentioned topic every 10 seconds. But what really surprised me is that at the question part of the conference, no one even asked about a new GTA.
From what I understand, Rockstar is just too tied up with other games at the moment, or perhaps that’s exactly what they want us to think? Ha, well… time will tell and remember – I’ll keep you all updated if something new pops up!
Interesting facts from the conference:
- Max Payne 3 will not be released this year.
- Mafia 2 is being worked on.
- Over 17 million GTA IV copies have been sold worldwide to date.
- GTA Chinatown wars will be released for the iPad later this month.
