It would appear that several people are really trying to pull off this trick by releasing material over the internet that suggests the next GTA to be set in Vice City. We’ve already heard about the previous E3 list (of which most people are still rather skeptical about, by the way) rumors that got a lot of people wondering and now… we have another one! Oh joy!
A well known website dedicated to gaming – gamereactor – published this article on their website.
I just received an e-mail from a certain “mrblack” containing the image below. It would suggest that Take Two would be showcasing Grand Theft Auto V: Vice at E3 in a couple of weeks. Big news. But I can’t help but feel somewhat sceptical. First of all, why would anyone who got their hands on the list take a photo of a computer screen? Second why would the list be in an image file (rather than say a pdf file, or a word document). And thirdly, when Rockstar have shown stuff at E3 (not very often) they have done so under their own banner and not under the Take Two banner.
The picture was also posted on the GTAForums.
I myself consider this to be even less possible to believe than the first published E3 list. Though it still points out to something specific – Vice City. Sure, I think it would be great to have the next Grand Theft Auto placed there, but really this effort to fool everyone is becoming a little bit annoying now.
